“Cassini Mission Finale” at the CR Smith Museum, Ft. Worth, Sep. 16
On September 15, 2017, the NASA Cassini robotic mission to Saturn ended its 20-years of exploration and discovery.
The next day, on September 16, the American Airlines C. R. Smith Museum in Euless/Ft. Worth is hosting the National Space Society of North Texas (NSS-NT) for a Cassini Mission Finale event, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Find out about the history of the exploration of Saturn, the results of the Cassini-Huygens Mission, and the Conclusions, from a presentation by NSS Director Ken Ruffin at 1 p.m. NSS-NT is providing free magazines and lithographs from the National Space Society and NASA, and brief yet interesting space videos will be displayed – in particular, about Saturn and Cassini.
