Sarah Twidal, Planetarium Manager, has invited NSS-NT to participate in several events. Ken Ruffin and other NSSofNT members will be speaking and hosting a display table at the Planetarium.

On Saturday, November 19, the North Texas National Space Society will be in the Planetarium Exhibit Hall all day to talk with Museum guests! Get all of your astronomy questions answered by these knowledgeable indiviudals while you explore the exciting artifacts housed in the exhibt. After you explore, catch a show in the Planetarium!

Make sure to stop by the Oak Room at 1:00 PM for a talk on space missions launching in November by the Vice-President of the North Texas National Space Society, Ken Ruffin. Ruffin’s presentation will cover ULA Atlas V GOES-R, a geostationary weather satellite, launching on Novemer 4, Expedition 50/51 to ISS launching on November 15, and the Cyclone Global Navigation Satelltie System, a weather prediction systerm, launching on November 21.
