It’s that time again:  the 13th annual FenCon – a science-fiction, fantasy, and space convention – is Friday Sept. 23 through Sunday Sept. 25 at the Westin DFW Hotel, 4545 W. John Carpenter Freeway, Irving, Texas, 75063 (north of DFW Airport, TX-Hwy 114 at Esters Blvd.)

FenCon includes several panel discussions focused on space travel and space development, featuring NASA asteroid expert Dr. Paul Abell from NASA Johnson Space Center near Houston, TX.  Also, the National Space Society of North Texas (NSS-NT) will again be well-represented, including former NSS-NT Presidents Bill Ledbetter and new NSS Director Ken Ruffin as panelists.  For registration, “programming” (scheduling of panels, autographs, etc.) and more, go to  Hundreds of authors, artists, and fans will be in attendance.

As a bonus:  once again, NSS-NT is throwing a Space Party on FenCon Saturday night.  Get comfortable with snacks, drinks, NSS magazines, and short space videos (by request – but no songs) displaying the latest and greatest information in space travel and space development.  If you’re wondering why would anyone throw a Space Party . . .
