“Milestones to Space Settlement” for the NSS-NT Sept. 11 Meeting
. . . Commercial Spaceflight companies – and international government space agencies – are planning to send people to the Moon and back, for exploration, tourism, and mining!
. . . Two other companies are preparing to mine Near Earth Asteroids.
. . . Slowly but surely, the general public is taking notice of upcoming missions to Mars (to & from Mars missions by NASA, and one-way Mars missions from Commercial Spaceflight companies).
. . . What about that planet which was recently discovered around the nearest star to our Solar System???
For Ken Ruffin’s final presentation as the President of the National Space Society of North Texas, he will give an updated version of the “Milestones to Space Settlement: an NSS Roadmap” on Sunday, September 11, 2016. This 20-step “Roadmap” explains what the National Space Society is all about: advocating not only for robotic equipment and people on the Moon and Mars, but also for the creation of space colonies, space hotels, and space-based solar power, and finally adAstra: to the stars! After this meeting, Ken R. will continue being active with the National Space Society, from his new position on the NSS Board of Directors.
NSS-NT meetings are held on the second Sunday of each month (except December) beginning at 3:30 p.m. in the large banquet room at Spring Creek BBQ-Irving, 3514 W. Airport Freeway, Irving, TX 75062 (eastbound Hwy. 183 service road, across Hwy. 183 from the Irving Mall, just before Belt Line Rd).
Spread the word: visitors, members – and former members – are encouraged to attend!
