On Tuesday at Noon (Eastern Time), the Commercial Spaceflight Federation will be hosting a Google+ Space Resources Hangout with representatives from the White House and industry to discuss the impact of the new law: what it means for industry, and what it means for the United States economy and exploration activities.

Last week President Obama signed into law the bi-partisan U.S. Commercial Space Launch Competitiveness Act. This law represents one of the most significant modernizations of commercial space legislation since the original Commercial Space Launch Act (CSLA) was enacted in 1984.

One of the most talked about pieces of the law provides the first ever codification of rights under U.S. Law for the commercial extraction and utilization of space resources.

We invite you to join the Hangout via YouTube and Google+. You may also participate in the conversation by tweeting @CSF_spaceflight and using the hashtag #SpaceResources.
